Talking Stick Resort is a luxurious Four-Diamond Scottsdale resort and boast a nearly 300,000 square foot casino, one of the largest in Arizona, as well as Vegas-style entertainment, and a relaxing spa.  Talking Stick Golf Club, which sits adjacent to the resort and hotel property, is one of the top rated golf clubs in Scottsdale and all of Arizona.

A mandatory one-time $10 porterage gratuity and $3 daily housekeeping gratuity will be added to individual guest folio. CANCELLATION POLICY: Talking Stick enforces a 72-hour cancellation policy: any changes or cancellations must be made no later than three days prior to arrival to avoid penalties of one night's room and tax.

SMOKING POLICY: Smoking in the hotel Tower and its guestrooms or balconies is strictly prohibited and subject to $500 in fines.

The MIM offers a fun, one-of-a-kind experience to be enjoyed by guests of all ages. See, hear, and travel the world on a guided our at the Musical Instrument Museum. It is also the home of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and the School of Architecture at Taliesin. You'll be drawn closer to Frank Lloyd Wright's world on Taliesin West's signature tour. Visit Wright's private quarters and living room, the gracious Taliesin West "Garden Room", the drafting studio, the Music Pavilion, the Cabaret and more.  Price includes transportation, tour and lunch.

Friday, May 3                                                                                                                                                          Cooking Demonstration and Lunch at Talking Stick        $105.00*                                                                    11:30 am - 1:00 pm                                                                                                                                                 Get cozy in the kitchen as you learn to prepare a special dinner for 2. We’ll cover essential techniques—from
making vinaigrette and reducing pan sauces to searing beef and cooking starches. Then we’ll create a quick
but elegant clafouti that you’ll easily recreate at home with your own personal twist.

What To Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it’s about techniques. In our class you’ll work
with our Chef in a fun informative environment led by Talking Stick Chef De Cuisine Ron Dimas.

Menu: Avocado, carrot and radish salad with Carrot-almond hummus, Roasted beef tenderloin with red
wine pan sauce and Artichoke, creamy polenta with braised kale, Wild huckleberry clafouti with Lemonspruce
ice cream.

*Registration for these events must be received by March 30, 2019 and a minimum of tickets need to be sold to initiate the tours. If we do not receive enough interest, full refunds for the tour(s) will be made.


Continuing Education (CE) Units

CE attendance forms will be in each individual registrant’s packet on-site. The 2019 Workshop offers 14 Continuing Education Units. Seminar registrants receive one CE credit for each clock hour attended. It is the responsibility of the attendee to submit continuing education documentation to their respective state for verification. The American Association of Dental Consultants is an American Dental Association (ADA) CERP recognized Provider.

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual sources or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

The American Association of Dental Consultants designates this activity for continuing education credits. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/cerp.


Cancellations/Refunds/Changes 

All refund requests must be in writing. Full refund, less a $50 per person administrative fee, will be issued for cancellations received on or before Friday, April 19 and a 50% refund, less the administrative fee, if received Saturday, April 20 through Friday, April 26. No refunds will be made for cancellations received thereafter. Refunds are processed within 30 days after the meeting.
